In the united states well-known fact about the Baby Boomer generation is that they are retiring in large numbers. After retirement, most of them travel and enjoy their life to the best of their ability. There comes a stage, and they have to face the realities of later stages of life. As the mind says something, but the body doesn’t cooperate Quality of life keeps declining. No one can escape from falling into one of these rabbit holes of life: physical, psycho-social, and economic challenges leading to poor Quality of life. When they need assistance they depend on family or paid help which is going to be Gen X and millennials.

They are still learning about themselves and dealing with stressors, including education, work, and family responsibilities. When distracted younger generations are caring for the elderly, disasters, occur due to generational gaps.

In conclusion, It is essential for caregivers to be less distracted and more focused by learning about different ways to de-stress, including exercising regularly and practicing yoga and meditation. there are so many online course one can take for example innerengineering is a great start. It is essential to educate the elderly about technology to keep themselves engaged online, which can also help younger caregivers want to help/work with the elderly.
